Mesonephroma of the Ovary

Abstract

|
A 4 year old female was admitted to Choon-Rae Hospital on Oct. 3,1965.. complaining of abdominal distension, weight loss and anorexia..
Physical examination revealed, marked anemia and a infant head sized mass in the mid abdomen. The mass was slightly movable with rather nodular on surface.
O.n laparotomy large tumor originating from left ovary without adjacent metastasis were found in the peritoneal cavity. Size of the removed tumor from left ovary was 14 X 15 X 13cm. and weighed 800 gm,. with pAt,holo gical findings of mesonephroma.
Patient was expired 4 months after discharge with recurrence of mass at lower abdomen.
